But MS have just trashed DX 10 rather than taking it into consideration the way the hardware was going.
And in a year and a halfs time, Vista will count as defunct becuase they're bringing out the new OS apparently in 2009

they aint trashed DX10 they just upgraded it so it couldnt be transferred to XP systems

DX10 uses new system API which Windows XP doesn´t have. Why MS doesn´t make an update for the system API is a mystery for me. $$.

i think it will take a while b4 vista is really usable, again like xp was when it came out, its slow and will need further patching.
we had it on a number of new pc's in work, about 100 i think, none work anymore, everyone of them finaly gave in with . this is not a genuine copy of vista etc after a few weeks, so they installed win2000 on them again, bloody nightmare to get them all done
