Ok peeps need a little help on this one ,

i have bought a new tv for my sons gaming room ,there is no coax ,aerial feed in that room .
if i was to by a sky magic eye ,is it as simple as plug something in to my sky box and then the eye into the new tv ?

what i am trying to find out is ,does this set up work without hard wiring the two together ??

cheers

mezz ;)

also can you watch two different channels on both sets?

cant be arsed getting on the roof to set up an aerial .

Aye, you normally just change the sky RF settings and plug the coax into the second RF port on the back of sky then into the eye then into the tv, , so you do need to cut some coax to length, very easy process, but can become very annoying, if the coax is cheap, it can become hard to get a good signal, which is needed or the remote wont work.
You can only watch whats on the main set.

as he said, it mirrors whatever is on the main tv, but allows the remote control to work from his room.

and as above, you need to run normal co ax cable. and you will also need to go into the sky maintenance menu to enable the 12v rf to turn on the eye

to run coax to the new set is gonna be a pain in the ass .

the tv has built in freeveiw so i might just get an indoor digi aerial :thumbl:
