Well, times are a changing - it used to be php and java (mainly java of course).

Since summer though we've used C for a graphics project, found it quite easy, and Lisp for our AI coursework/course - but currently we are going through:

Prologue
Lisp
Haskill
Ada
C

Now after working away in Lisp all last term for AI, I came to the conclusion that I both loved it and completely hated it. Having looked at Ada, prologue, Haskill and C - I'm now moderately fond of it. I doubt I'll ever be proficient enough in any of the above languages to really be able to "program" in them, but blimey - some of them are hard work when coming from an Object Orientated background!

Haskill? Hask my butt!
Watch this space, as to really understand stuff, I've decided to try tackling haskill over the next year
