was searchin about on how to overclock and i found this little nugget of info!
Basically Intel said they would give 5 processors to someone who could break the 3D mark 05 and 06 world record with a single CPU and a sinlge GPU.

This guy got, wait for it, 90 230, not a typo! ninety thousand two hundred and thirty 3D marks

To put in perspective I have a 6750@2.6ghz and an 8800GTX and i got 11,000 marks!

He had it cooled under liquid nitrogen and OC'd his CPU to 5ghz!

It was 3DMark 2001 he got he 90 grand and not he latest versions.

Make sure your comparing the correct version.
