All my Rigs have been AMD before and its a shame to have to Leap over to Intel , but I wanted the best at the time for games , so Core 2 it is :) :( :)



Still theres hope for AMD yet :)

maybe next Rig will be AMD 8)

Well... if you not interested in Quad... go for the AMD 5000+ X2 Black Edition. Over clocking that sucker is easy, and with just air cooling. Costs = £60-70 and over clocks to about 3.4Ghz+ (Depending on cooling)(can be higher with Water).
Dual Core if ya wondering.
So stick that with a 8800GT or 8800GTS 320 and there wont be any bottlenecking :wink: ...Dont get me wrong tho memory has to be good too.
Cost effective and will perform high on the Benchmarks.
