Doing an essay on research of wide area networks at the momeny. "yay"

Would i be right in saying that:

Circuit Switched, Packet Switched and Leased Lines are 3 different concepts of WAN?

Or would they be known as PTO switched services?

Yep, although I'd refer to Leased Line as a type of 'Dedicated' WAN. Might as well call Circuit Switched a modem if you do it that way.

The three main connection types are: 'Circuit-switched' such as modems and ISDN, 'dedicated' or leased lines, and 'packet-switched' such as ATM and Frame Relay.

It's a slightly better description imo. Although I don't really know a huge amount about networking ;)
