shush - it's working except for video drivers :D

Vista drivers will suffice for graphics, any XP+ driver for everything else 8) Might work for NT drivers, but why would you?

Sorted for six bottles of Tsingtao and moving some plasterboard! :o7:
Still some driver issue. One graphics card complains of not enough resources. Shovel some more coal on!

Am after some magic numbers as well....

ps, what vid card is it? win 7 shouldnt have a problem unless its a really old piece of ^$^£^^. even so the vista drivers should work ok

The keys are for other things...

Graphics are:
Main monitor: Nvidia GeForce 7800GT
Other two: Nvidia GeForce 6800XT

for the 6800:
Quote:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use.
(Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the
other devices on this system.

Post subject:  Re: windows 7...

it sounds like you are trying to run the 32 bit version which is wrong. it has the 4gig memory limit, renember that has to include the video memory as well, so if you have 2 x 2gig vid cards, then no memory can be allocated to run windows, hence not enough resources.

You are much better going for the 64 bit version, no problem getting drivers anymore for it.

I know those 2 cards wont be 4 gigs between them, but its probably over 2 which may not allow enough for windows as well.
check task manager to see how much physical memory you have under ther performace tab and post the details.

as for the iso's, you can still download the 32 and 64 bit versions easily enough, just not directly from microsoft, they are legal torrents or i or others hear can send you a copy
