They are reportedly reimbursing EVERY customer who has had the 3 red light problem. A 3 year warranty has been made and if this problem occurs, they will repay it free of charge.

The bit that does make sense is they say that, you have 3 years warranty and the program is in place now. Yet i purchased mine in December last year. That means i got 2years and 4 - 5 months left on warranty? Because it then says old or new consoles will be covered by this from the buy date.

Now maybe i've mis interpreted the letter, or basically they are going back on themselves, because i thought the 3 year warranty starts now.

Not from the purchase date of teh Xbox.

Great for me....mine is working fine now, but sods law come October, it would have burst into flames.

I was planning to send it back working just to get it replaced.
