Try the towel trick Take out all cables apart from the power and wrap the 360 in a towel and leave it on for 15 minutes. All this does is burn the heat sensors inside which activate the 3 Red Lights and effectively bricks the console. Did it happen during a long gaming session? |

dont worry about it, microsoft extended everyones warrenty a few weeks ago to be 3 years free repair for harware failures, which 3 leds indicate so if you contach them(number on the xbox360 support page) they will pick it up from your house, repair it and drop it back to your door free of charge. they will even refund you if you already paid for repairs in the past. they were getting flak about the extreme numbers of failures Ps mine is also broken and waiting on repair, has anyone actually gotten a 360 that works? |

you should be fine, you in europe allready had two year on your warrentys then extended to 3 (grumble grumble- we in the US only had one year) anyway you should now be able to send it into the incompetant monkeys that fix and test these things, Richard i did that to mine and it worked fine for 2 months than broke again and wouldnt do jack Also i sent mine off for a month..... got it back and it wouldnt play any form of Disks just got an error and it was loud as shit. sent that one off again for a month.... and finally recieved a mostly new one (with all the cables and power supply so if anyone wants the old ones say for $40 ill send them to ya they all work) point being even if you get a new one from them its crap and then you might get lucky on the next try |
