since no one else has made a post about this since it came out i am going to. I would just like to point out how truly wonderful this game is, for all those people thinking about getting a ps3, the time is now. Have just finished it having not been able to put it down since i got it.
The best thing is they have actually put effort into it, unlike the majority of mass produced EA crap. Anyone else got/played it?
Got it on release date, absolutly fantastic game. Gta4 and mgs is the reason I bought my PS3 just a couple of months ago.....and it was worth it.
Story as usual is good and well, the game mechanics are great also. Good way to buy and sell guns though....and of course easily addicted monkey.
Only thing I could dislike (only a bit) is you get bigger guns early on, m4 custom and then once you start knicking the guns off the enemy. But then it fits in with the story, who's going to be in a war zone and look at a rifle..."no, I'll stick to my tranq gun thanks"
Only in to the game so far as beating your first major boss, had to go back to work but I'm off again now.
If you don't have it, go buy it.

Keep debating buying it, looks nice and all that, but I never bothered finishing MGS3, just completely lost interest after a short while and I'm concerned that I'll do the same with 4.

I find the way you go back fantastic....kind of feels "oh the memories" heh.
I think I'm pritty much near the end....sadly work and eve interrupted my playing of it, just a note. The items you get from the bosses for beating them are crap ¬_¬ Well except for maybe one of them, *pzzzzzzzzPOW*
Oh and VAMP is an absolute bastard to kill.....took me so many attempts to take him down, the hints they give you via codec are really no use at all.
