all 5 or 6 (not sure?) guitar hero games are better if you like just playing guitar, generally better guitar tunes.
if you want to sing or play drums at all though, rock band beats world tour by far, i own rockband 1 and 2 and a mate has world tour, i tried the drumming on world tour and it just doesnt feel right at all, same goes for the singing. to me world tour feels like all other guitar hero games but with the rushed addition of drums and singing...totally unfinished.
i also think rockband 1 is better purely down to the better soundtrack.
