Is now out on the US store, if you don't have a US account, dead easy, just pretend you live in America. You can even become one of my neighbours in the 90210 postcode area :smile:

Still downloading at the moment, starts off with a 300mb download which is nice, then a 35mb patch, which is ok.....then a 2GB patch on top! :roll:

See you on the battlefield along with 254 other people maybe?

Edit : Got this downloaded/installed, seems it's just pre-loaded for the 4th of Jan when they turn the servers on.

OK, this has officially started now, only on until the 10th of this month.

I've had a quick play of it so far, and it's actually better than I was expecting so far.

Get it downloaded, we can have our own little squad with voice comms and whup some foreign arse. I'm in the S.V.E.R faction, hopefully see you on the battlefield!! (if anyone can be bothered to actually do anything, ever.)

Yeah, they've had a few teething problems with it and the amount of people trying to connect at launch lol.

i'm having some trouble getting connected to the ps network :|
i was able to try it out for 5 minutes yesterday night, but didn't have enough time to completely check everything.

i joined the sver faction like you though :)

Need to try a few times sometimes, only a beta at the end of the day don't forget.

And as for SVER, I decided on that because which ever way it worked, you'd only have to see a uniform and shoot, if you were one of the other teams, you'd have to stop and think occasionally :P

played a few maps today, tried out assault first but switched to sniping after a while.
the maps are quite big, so you can actually snipe pretty well. the standard rifle takes 2 shots or a headshot to kill, but there's an unlockable .50 anti material rifle that should do it in one :D

although it's not a bad game, i doubt i'll be buying it, i don't really like playing shooters with a controller :/

Have to say, I've given this game quite a bit of my time now, and it is actually pretty bloody good. Nice balance of weapons, maps are good and it plays nicely enough. Not seen any noticeable lag on it either which is pretty cool.

If I can find it cheap enough around launch I may just grab it.
