Yeah there's a lot of this floating around on the net at the moment, to be honest i hope they do it, naturally I'm interested on what Scientology is really about. Remember watching the BBC documentary on it and the person who was making it was getting stalked by the representative of Scientology. He wouldn't leave him alone, it was like he was afraid of something. So i hope we all soon find out. Watched a few videos on it also, the ones with Tom Cruise, he's a nut case The hacker group origins from the 4/7chan boards hence the anonymous. They have done many "raids" before, if you google 4chan or check some of they're wiki's out you will find out pretty much everything you will want to know. I think this will have interesting results either way. |

Probably never hear any more of them after their Microsoft Sam presentation above. Lets be honest, it takes no intelligence, organisation or actual ability to make said presentation and put it onto the net these days. Doubt it'll go any further than the vid, unless the Scientologists believe it and make it a huge deal. I imagine that's why this was done... to generate a nut job response tbh. |

yer it will be just to wind up the nut cases who believe it... Scientology is quite a funny scam if i may say so... just shows a entrepreneur with a sick sense of humour at its most extreme |

Ya'll got me worried, where's that history book again. I swear 75 years ago there were similar mumblings... |

'Anonymous has managed to generate a measurable attack against the Scientology.org Web site. Over the past few days, the site was hit with several DDOS (distributed denial-of-service) attacks, which flooded it with as much as 220M bps of traffic' Think I read somewhere they made all their fax machines have an endless loop of printing blank pieces of paper, and random malark like that lol. |

Meh, just annoying instead of hacking really. What I would like to know is whether, since it's a religion they're doing it against, it could be construed as religious hatred etc - for which don't we have new laws? Could prove interesting, although I'm aware the US may have different laws, and therefore not apply Still, what they're doing is illegal isn't it? If you find more info, let us know You may note I am against such things, but doesn't mean I'm not nosey and want to know what's going on |

theres a few legal cases with the church of Scientology where they have been proper shot down by the courts.. quite funny judgements where they effectively say "sorry your not a religion" lol.. |

Thats the thing though, panorama's report was trying to show both sides of the story, they werent trying to be biased like a lot of other reports, but the guys following them just assumed they were hate mongering and were being quite aggressive I'm a very liberal person, i have no problem with other peoples beliefs, i just dont like the way some religions are run, scientology uses peoples social problems to make money, that im afraid i cant agree with |

They're a cult, not a religion. They're considered a religion in the U.S since it has tax exempt status. I'd like to see what will happen on the 10th. Hopefully we'll see the protests on the news. |
