It's not Danish at all. That track was recorded in 1958 by an American, David Seville, real name Ross Bagdasarian Sr. In '59 he recorded The Chipmunk Song with The Chipmunks. He voiced all three chipmunks in The Alvin Show in 1961. He died in '72. In 1980, his son started up the whole Alvin, Simon, Theodore thing again. And re-recorded the song I believe. Who'da thought it was a song from the 50's.. (sorry, did a lot of research on this recently.. ) |
