yer its a shame.. i went to a spanish bull ring in mias this week... you could see the bull sat down in the corner all drugged up and waiting for its death.. swarmed in flies and being pestered by pigeons...

As you walk in.. all the placards on the wall say "matador wins"...

We're not big on blood sports in the UK, not since we banned bear baiting and dog fighting in 2002......

Seal clubbing and fox hunting however should be allowed :thumbl:

its no more a messed up way of dieing that a slaghter house, and dont they eat the animals afterwards and since its Spain, I didnt think they wasted a lot of the meat.

can't remember the last time a large group of people paid to see a bull killed at a slaughter house for pure entertainment..,,
if they really want to make it fair....put the bull and the bloke in an open field.... see who wins then.... 8)

Joo has a point - don't forget that in the US they inject the live cattle with tenderisers, shortly before the bolt, to ensure that the meat is nice and tender on the dinner plate. :pale:

We like the dude getting gored coz its inhumane, the bull has been speared and is already at a weakened state when it enters the ring and everytime its runs the cuts that it has already been given b4 the fight only drain the poor animal of more blood and give it more pain, its basically being forced to bleed to death :evil: oh and thats way diff to a slaughter house where animals are killed humanely and not for fun.

So on that note lets watch more peeps being punished for supporting this barbaric event :thumbl:
