Dont worry, if bf1942 or BC2 work close to as promised then yes this place will buzz again. Since a game community is by defination dependent on its games it will also ebb and flow ith them. In the meantime, go out and walk the dog (try not to break your legs this time).
edit - L4D2 is out very soon isnt it? Are you lot up for that?

Geoff, did you actually buy l4d 1 because you thought it had a great storyline, awesome dialog and eye popping character development? or did you just want to twat zombies?
p.s. could also apply the same arguemtn to that game that your on commision for...

p.s. could also apply the same arguemtn to that game that your on commision for... i bought it too play ... but IMHO..... turned out something that has a limited play time...as fri night proved.... theres not a lot of variation in coop..... u start at trhe last saved point.... and follow the same route... least in the bf series..u make your own variation of what you do in the game....fly..swim..drive...snipe....camp....sail....... go on moo.... tell me what floats your boat in gaming.,... _________________ Went to a zoo, they only had one animal there, a dog............. Good controls, smooth gameplay (i.e. lag free both for sp and mp), various ways to win (particulaly if it allows for sneakiness), A wide variety of units, weapons, terrain etc, intuative menu's, bug free, decent emersion ususally in the form of graphics and sound, easy to pick up yet very difficult to master. Hows that?
edit - a friendly, well informed and popular modding scene can help alot too.
