Below are two threads I have come across pretty much instantly if you have either connection issues or crashing to desktop problems.

They are working on all the issues as we speak

Hey all.

I had the CTD problem at first but i found something that worked for me.

BFBC2 creates a folder in My Documents, in it there is a file thats called settings. Open it with notepad and set the refresh rate to the same as your videosettings in windows ( check windows display settings ). I found that the game had my settings at 60.00021.... i changed that to 60.

I also forced the directx version to 11 ( you can set it to 10 for vista users or 9 for xp ). Its further down the list in the same file. Default is Auto.

Finally, i set the game resolution to the same as my windows. ( i dont know if this one actually helps ).

I changed those and i loved the game so much that i played about 6 hours non stop without 1 ctd or huckup.

My system:
intel Q6600 2.4
geforce 9800 gtx+
4gb ddr2 800hz
windows 7 hp 64bit

Hope it helps!

Update: i kept reading and some say on running the game in admin. I dont use this, i even run the game with steam ( i didnt buy it with steam but i added it as a non steam game to play with somefriends usint the steam chat ingame ).

All my settings are maxed out.

and you DO NOT NEED to reinstall windows!!! lol!!!

Problem Identified Fix Found
Read my prior posts to see what I have been through
Culprit: Onboard Audio chipsets (realtek, soundmax)
Fix: Disable HD onboard audio in Motherboard Settings
Install: A secondary pci soundcard ( I had an old Audigy 2 platinum external lying around )
Played for a total of 10 hours no crash since.

I hope this helps for some of the people around here it appears it has for some people.

Edit: Please bare in mind this may work for you but it may not for others its just something to try!
