I'm in the process of specing all the classes and I've noticed one thing about the Recon class.
All the following unlocked sniper rifles, (bar the last one) are actually worse that the one you start off with.
Am I missing something here?

Nope, the 1st one is the most kick arse ive ypu get the hang of it (as far as i know). The bigger scope (about 12x) and mortar strike helps alot too.

for regular shooting, the gol magnum is the best, 1 hit kills, it has full accuracy and shoots faster than the m24
while the m95 has a faster bullet, with less bullet drop & more stopping power, this is only really necessary for shooting at extreme distances or through walls and choppers. (the m95 is the only rifle that can damage helicopters + 1 hit kill the uav)
it's much slower to fire and reload... so in most cases you'd be better off with the faster shooting gol.
the scopes on the m24 and m95 are better though, they have mil-dots instead of just regular croshairs, meaning you can judge bullet drop more easily and consistently.

put a red dot on the SVV (or m24 for fun)
and go assault mode in recon ^^
just try different stuff
