My friends tutor on his music course spent the afternoon ,instead of teaching, buying up all the Wii's from amazon.co.uk he could.

He had heard a rumour 50 were going to be added to stock between 12pm & 3pm so he frantically refreshed the page constantly.

While he was doing this at work, his wife, was doing it at home aswell.

They bought 4-6 of them & slapped them back on Amazon.co.uk for about £400 or more.

Wish Id of thought of that :cry:

same thing happened when the PS2 was released....just before Christmas the market flooded !!

my mate still has them in his attic, hes hoping in 100 years time they may be a collectors item ~ pity he be dead by then.

A good friend of mine paid £1500 for his PS2, but that was from Japan, when the export ban was on them.

As for the poll, I predict that about 12 people will disappear from the forums for approximately 4 days, before returning back to the PC out of sheer boredom as the novelty of the magic tv smashing wands wears off.

That'll teach them for buying toys and not serious gaming machines :wink: :P
