It was working fine yesterday.

Today I can start a game and move about the menu screens but when it comes to playing tennis and the like it doesn't register the swing. I thought it might be a dud remote (there are 4) but the 2nd one is doing the same thing.

Any ideas?

EDIT - seems to be working now but I would like to know what the problem was.

I think the main problem is...

You have a Wii.

Awesome? Thought you were from welshland not america?
Anyway, dont think id like to own a console that i had to jump around like a monkey just to play the games. When ive had a long hard day at work i just want to sit and chill playing a game. Is this why the wii seems to be so popular with students? Just used as a daily excuse to get off their backsides?

is there any mirrors in your room? cus we found when we set up our wii origonally in the room it was set up in there was a big mirror and we had to actually play into the mirror to get the games to work

only a suggestion, i dont know why it didnt work but all i know was it was the mirrors fault, hope this helps

PS3 motion controller just makes the wii look like a chinese copy of a wii, suddenly looks massively inferior. :thumbl:
