well from what I read we're not sure if I7 will be worthwhile on bf3 yet.... a lot of people are opting for the i5-2500k.....people are disabling the I7 core that does gfx as it reduces performance.

Aswell it seems AMD's Bulldozer will be a complete waste of time compared to whatever it is Intel will release shortly afterwards.....

I don't want them to release next gen too long after bf3.....would be better in a way if they released next gen with bf3..... would sell a lot of new next gen stuff...... seems they're being smart about selling all their old stock first (thus waiting for bf3 to be released)

yea....

we don't know if HT on an i7 will actually deliver though...let's wait for the benchmarks on release... I'm going to purchase in November when I can make a more informed decision based on benchmarks.... I think I'll go for like a nvidia 560/570 and then consider upgrading when a next gen GPU comes out....

Actually I just looked where it was originally linked from; GeForce.com so its probably a bit bias anyway. Changed it to hopefull a better one.

Looks about right though, thought I might have to turn things down a bit with a single 6950 but it runs it brilliantly with most options maxed out.

Guess they did a good job with the engine this time.
