and Lur... it takes half an hour if you are geeky savvy and do this stuff all the time, personally I have only built 1 pc before and I like to take my time with these things to make sure I don't break anything...

Had a bit of a bad time with my last build aswell.... I had my motherboard break, my graphics card broke - twice......and about 3 months ago my PSU broke.

I want a solid performing pc build....but I'll post back when we're near the release of BF3 and there will no doubt be a lot of spec builds arising.

I want this pc to kick bf3's ass.

I went for i5 so you could get a gtx580 (pretty much built around the gpu) and for gaming you wont really notice the difference,im sure it will oc quite good to which should unlock a few fps
