I'm just using a 64Gb SSD just as a system drive, everything else is on a 500Gb 7200RPM. It works great.

Yea u won't see an advantage to multiplayer for the ssd as sloppy said due to waiting for spawning.....will load sp maps about 6% faster than a mechanical hdd though ...

I would put your all ur apps and os and fav games on Ssd.... and storage on a mechanical hdd

Wise choice of processor...over clocks to hell....just purchased same myself......waiting for delivery.....Get a good custom cooler....I opted for h80 water cooler"..2500k is considered optimum for gaming....as i7 has no benefit to gaming ...

Edit just saw not 2500k ....lol.....

Ram is overkill since you will only utilise 4gb for gaming.....8gb is what most opt for these days......cheap though....

If I were you'd I'd of saved on ram and ssd and got better gfx card like gt570 or 580
...for bf3......and maybe considered a pcie 3 ivy bridge ready motherboard......I suppose u can still wait for the next gen gfx card though in 2012 which will be worth waiting for....

See u on the battlefield

Well just got back from Overclockers and they swapped my stuff NP.
Thanks to Mike, who pointed out the Mobo wasn't really up to scratch, I've ended up with this.

Asrock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

I also swapped out my CPU and got the right one.

Thanks all, now I just need to assemble it for some pew pew.
