Post subject:  disconnecting online

Anyone getting this? it can be like every half an hour or less....trying to work out if its windows/ the game or my connection

well your connection is easy to diagnose......

what are the symptoms........... any more info?

game is perfectly smooth .. no lag :/
plugged in by ethernet..

simply just lost connection to the server .....random

doesn't actually lose connection to the internet.... I can immediately rejoin

could be punkbuster kicking you...

try manually updating your game.

or join our server....if you get kicked or lose connection...tell me the exact time and ill look at the server logs..see if i can see anything relevant.

check your origin chat - I posted the times I crashed... try 00:20 for me.....just said timed out :/

You will need to disable "UPnP" on your router to fix this error.

To get inside your router and access its control panel:

Type the router’s internal IP address into your web browser on a computer on your network (IP addresses are different for each router. For DLink, it's http://192.168.0.1., for Linksys routers it’s http://192.168.1.1, and http://192.168.2.1 for several other brands. Check your router’s manual if none of these work for you.)
Click the Tools tab, then the Misc button.
Click Disabled next to the UPNP listing.
Be sure to click Apply to update the router with this new setting.

well I can confirm that disabling UPNP works..... no disconnects at all today

The second post says to turn off upnp...

Just turned it off, will test for an hour or two later :)
