1 laptop...


can get say...gamecommunity on both..
but not..www.speedtouch.co.uk on the laptop..its ok on the pc...

this applies to most sites on the laptop....
can get google on both

some are co.uk.....some are com...

ive cleared everything..cookies..history etc...

wierd...not seen out like it before...
from what i can see..its not a firewall problem at the router...
and ive turned it off to be sure..


any ideas? 8)

assigned ip`s by dhcp from the router or you set them - if so check dns settings for laptop
if its the laptop you brought into work - out dns server dont resolve anything anymore for off campus stuff

if its not that check the windows hosts file to see any odd stuff in there

dns...cos i dont normally use a wired connection at home..this time i plugged it into a new router....so the lan dns became active....
