hit f8 repeatadly untill a menu pops up. This will happen BEFORE the windows loading screen if you do it correctly. Then select last known good configuration or safe mode and see if it boots :)

F8 isnt default for bios or safe mode, could be DEL, F10 or even ESC. Once in the Bios, check that your HDD's and your RAM are detected, Blue screen when loading usually suggests HDD or RAM failure, if you can get into safe mode and that loads up fine, then if is probably a driver issue, which i almost garentee it is, Windows prob changed something and your comp dont like it.

Drive issues can be right pains in the %$&^* I've had to format my compy a couple times due to driver issues.

Yeah, I tried just about everything you can think about, safe mode etc... all that, I eneded up backing my files up and formatting. (3 times this has occured)

ummm sorry but yes it is.

F8 is the only key that does what I said., as its part of windows and has nothing to do with the motherboard.

Yes F2, F10, DEL or any other key can be used to get into BIOS and change settings. But the only way to get into safe mode is to hit F8 untill u see the menu.

Its not a dodgy copy of XP is it?
