essentially, instead of having 4 backlights for your lcd screen, you have one backlight for every 10 pixels or so, meaning you have (in theory) an infinite contrast ratio, allowing even better HDR - you can now turn pixels off and get true black

My LCS is pretty good... SAMSUNG SyncMaster 152N, does the job for me. Although I do notice that the reaction rate kinda sucks for playing movies and games, but thankfully not majourly :?
