This might sound like a really noobish question, but with all these mentally powerful graphics cards coming out right now. Are any of them Direct X 10 compatible? Especially with Windows Vista just around the corner (then 3 streets down, third left). Just wanting to know before I even consider saving to buy a new card. |

they are all compatible, but none on the market currently execute DX10 code. |

No. None of them that are on the market, supports directx10 |

It looks like my next upgrade is getting pushed back all the time, somewhere near the middle of next year, so I can wait for the new technologies to bed down properly - AM2 vs Conroe, DX10 graphics cards, Vista etc etc. I guess that means more pennies for me to spend. Lucky my trusty S754 3400 & 6800GT can still cut the mustard

i read somewhere that DX10 can only get with vista does anyone know if thats true? |

Yes, that is true. You wont be able to run Dx10 games, or benefit from directx10, on any other platform then vista. |
