Can anyone recommend a good piece of freeware which will allow me to monitor use of my wireless network? I'm sure someone is using it cos it keeps slowing down periodically.

When i had wireless, every 5 minutes or so I'd have a lag spike. I can guarantee no one was hacking my connection, so it might just be that ;)

I block MAC addresses so only people I authorise can connect to my access point.

yeah, a much simpler way is to just restrict access, rather than messing around with 3rd party software.

MAC address filtering is what I use to restrict access and also I just use the minimum encryption in case anyone does try and intercept my packets.

PS. I am not a wireless noob, this is for my laptop :) (PC is WIRED !)
