Sometimes this could be to do with heat problems with your case....after five mintues the gfx card/ memory/ cpu may be too hot and become unstable.

Just make sure you've got a good airflow going through your case, and clean out any dust off the fans. Dont use a hoover though, as this creates static electricity.

However I use a hoover, because im hardcore (or lazy :P)

What kind of crash is it? computer turns off? looping sound crash? crash to desktop? graphics go crazy? Might give a clue to the problem ;)

wen it crashes it crashes to desktop and sometimes come up with the 'hl2 has encountered a problem and needs to close' and asks if i wana send a report but it hapens on lots of games, and in hitman case it comes up with same message but about hitman???

VGA ram heatsinks (made by Zalman) i got those

And i bought me a NV Silencer

Most Probablly yeah, what are the actual Temps?

I dont think theres an NV silencer out for that card :?

Maybe Zalman would be the better bet
