Post subject:  Cool 'n Quiet + overclocking
What is it, and why is it?

Just got my compsky working finally, temps are fine (CPU < 45 even whilst gaming) - is it worth enabling?

Also, my mobo (MSI K9N) allows my to dynamically overclock if it reckons i need it (by 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11% max)

Running on a standard cooler, should i enable this?

Probably, to a small extent.

On some chips you can get significant gains on stock cooling.

With the stock cooler you probabally could overclock to some extent, as myx said

From the reviews and such ive read i'd say the best air cooling suggestion for overclocking is:

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro

It's ok, but a Thermalright XP-120 or something would be much better, just more expensive.

Thermalright heatsinks own all others.

Woah just google'd that Thermalright XP-120,

Looks....Huge but, nevertheless owns

I reckon one of them with a changed fan on the top (my choice would be and akasa Amber fan for noise level reasons, but if your wernt bother about the noise you could get a tornado fan)

if you have the money, you could go with watercooling, probably the better solution, i have seen a few kits on a single 120mm radiator on ebay going for around £60
