On a comp thats already connected to the router goto> Start > Run, then type cmd then ok, when the box pops up type: ipconfig/all
it will then list your ip's, subnet, Gateway and DNS.

i assume you are connected to the internet now by another modem ? if so make sure it is disconnected when the otherone is connected.

hey mate
Make sure you got all the seucirty anf configurations options set correctly.
Typical settings for ADSL in the UK are as follows:
VPI = 0, VCI = 38
ADSL Modulation Auto, then try G.DMT, then try ANSI T1.413
Encapsulation Mode PPP over ATM (PPPoA - RFC2364) VC-MUX
Authentication CHAP
Then obvisouly u will need ur bt username/pass and that should be it on the router.
Connect ur pc to the router with a network cable and auto assign the ip, hopefully if everything is done right you should be connected to the net. Once we get you to that stage i can show you wireless secuirty etc
