Post subject:  cs:s Screen Reflection Confusion
I've been having problems with CS:S ever since I turned from DX9 to DX7 and back to DX9 with that everything seems to be sort of metallic. It's hard to explain, it mostly shows up on the player models however the problem is also with the maps so it isn't a problem with the model files. I have tried uninstalling the game an reinstalling but the problem persists. Has anybody had these problems before and how did you fix it? Thanks alot for any info here are a few examples of what I am getting:

Any help would be hugely appreciated and I promise I will never fiddle around with the Dx and graphics seetings again :oops: :lol: .

locate the file:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOUR STEAM NAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg\config.cfg

delete it then restart the game, you will have to put all your settings back in like name, crosshair etc but should fix your problems.

i renember having that a few weeks ago after a valve update, dont think i bothered fixing it but it returned to normal after the next update, so if deleting your config didnt help then delete the blob file and it will install the latest update again
