ok i've think i've got a temperature problem. my graphics card 6200SE ( ) is averaging out at 77 degree's C. this can't be good compared to some people who have it under 40. my pc has one big fan but its just for the processor and therefore other parts don't get any cooling. i'm pretty clueless about fans so is there any designed for my gfx card or can i buy one which will cool it down as well as a few other things. also i may buy a new gfx card in the near future late september but this depends on how much i spend on holidays and first few weeks of uni. any help would be appreciated thanks joe |

yeah, anything under 100 is good (that said, my 7900GT overclocked does only run at 50 ) |

you can splash out £20 for a zalman cooler if you really wanted (i'm getting one cos my fan is stupidly noisy in an otherwise near silent case), but if you're getting a new card, don't bother. |

I am with the others on that, my 6800GT ran at 90C with no artifacts, the 7800GTs prefer 50C as some one mentioned, these give artifacts at over 55C. If you can't see any corruption then there is no problems, graphics cards don't tend to crash games due to heat like a cpu would (thats the drivers job lol). |

Pretty sure the newer Nvidia cores can run well up to 130C and auto throttle down too anyway. |
