cheers, so far, i've got ram, cpu, heatsink on mobo trying to put hdd in case atm.. |

make sure you don't overtightent the screws, and put the HDD in backwards (cables at the back) makes it a lot tidier |

Dont forget to plug in all those fiddly little pins for front usb/audio/power switch etc, before you install your gfx card and all the main power and IDE cables etc. |

was struggling to get it to power on, must have wired it up wrong... then dan had to leave, so hopefully my brother might be able to help me later..might not though. |

hmm looking at the CPU fan, and System Fan cables... the wire from the CPU is plugged into the System fan socket which has 3 pins - it looks like it should fit there,.. should it be connected to the CPU fan? which has 4 pins?? looks like it fits there? but words are confusing me... |

rite i managed to get a red LED back on my mobo, turns out one of the wires was a bit loose... dont know if everything else is in the correct place. pc turns on and off fine.. CPU fan and system fan, are they supposed to be moving as soon as i turn it on or not? because they werent doing |

im going crazy here... i was turning my pc on its side..i get LED on MOBO i turn it up, no LED on mobo repeat x 3 There must be a loose wire, can't figure this out... i'm so confused which wire must it be? |

i am preying for you, just make sure you go over the instructions thoroughly, cause if it goes wrong you could end up with a very expensive paper weight, check double check triple check, get the pope in to check, that the wires are in the right place. im cringing for you here |

oh yeah forgot to say, the led on the motherboard going on then off, try checking the big oblong connector, biggest power set of wires coming from the power suply |

getting power, found a loose cable like the one described above by alex thanks is my case fan supposed to spin from the moment i turn it on? my processor is spinning fine, motherboard lights up.. trying to do my gpu properly, reckon i done somet wrong, couldnt get a picture on my monitor VGA adapter gonna try plug it into my dads lcd and byypass the VGA, and then reinstall the hardware maybe it's loose or something btw how easy is it to break your graphics card if its not fitted properly ? i found it loose at some point... on one end |
