 Post subject: Front Audio problem
Post Posted: Fri Aug 04, 2006 8:38 pm
My motherboard has an Audio Front Connector, on my front panel theres a socket for a mic and headphones. The the wires to connect to the motherboard for the front audio on the other hand are shown as:

ground
mic-in
r-out
r-ret
l-out
mic-power
L-ret

But on my motherboard, the sockets are called:

Port 1L
GND
PORT 1R
PRESENCE#
PORT 2R
SENSE1_RETURN
SENSE_SEND
PORT 2L
SENSE2_RETURN

Is it possible to hook up the front audio and if so, which ones do I connect to?

I got it to work but the sound is pretty bad, even on the rear audio. It stops when I take the front connectors out.
