I am about to reformat my pc which I do everynow and then and wondered what happens with steam etc, if I install steam and login will I be able to re-install my games or do i need to backup my games first. I have never used anything like steam before thats why im asking.

best thing is is to copy the whole of your steam folder to a dvd or another partition, reinstall windows etc etc, reinstall steam then just copy the lot back accross... |
