you can reinstall IE all buy its self in the add/remove programs, just click on windows features and un tick IE.

It will need a re start and IE is gone. They you do the same but this time you tick it and it will reinstall and should ask for the windows disk.

before reinstalling though i would delete all the ie files on the hdd u can find. like the program files folder and wat not just to make sure all the files are new.

if that dont work the beta for IE7 is public now i think? well i got it :)
