It appears to be a program trying to trick people into installing an anti-spyware/registry fix program which is in fact the opposite...and is just spyware itself.....

Any1 had experiences with it?? or know how i can get rid of it :?

i'm searching google. but if any1 knows the easiest way to get rid of it off-hand that would be great.

thanks :)

Xsoft & AdAware cant seem to find it :(

I get it on OGAME a lot...and other places too :?

and i closes down your browser...very annoying

i dont get it on the forum (thank god...)
i'd never find any new posts then!

a) ewido is a good anti spyware / malware softie.

b) use Firefox, which is less likley to be hijacked browserwise.

Use Spybot to get rid of spyware as well, works wonders.

I've noticed an advert on the ogame site....called drivecleaner, which it turns out is in fact the same rogue program....leading me to believe the pop-ups are ogame related, and that it hasnt managed to infect my comp at all.

info and pop-up screenies here:
http://defeat-error-safe.org/?gclid=CKb ... EAodwiTUyA

All the known removers have come up with clean scans...so,
unless it occurs while browsing any other site than ogame...i'm going to assume my comp is fine, and that its the website itself.

Thanks for the help guys :)

Warning for ogamers has been posted 8)

EDIT: hehe...the site i linked to above i noticed this in the top corner
