hey! got back off holiday 2 days ago and just realised my cd drive isnt working.
the problem is when i put cds in it isnt recognising that theres anything in it so its showing up that the tray is empty.
its a LITE-ON IT COMBO Model:SOHC-5235K
any help would be great

think u go and buy a special disc that does it...

just tried reinstalling the drivers but no luck thanks for ur advice guys ill buy the cleaning cd 2morrow, fingers crossed

nforce sw ide drivers can cause this problem, but if it worked before and you haven't installed/updated nforce drivers, it's probably not that.
