Post subject: | Feedback on my mic |
Lately i've been hearing myself through the speakers when the mic is plugged in. I dont have to be transmitting anything...the mic just has to be plugged in. Was having problems with my mic the last day but with the aid of Chris's ears to let me know when it was working....i fixed it. I may have changed some settings though. I don't ever remember getting it before.....any ideas as to why i can now hear myself??? maybe it was always there.....but i doubt it Thanks |

I might be able to help. Go to volume control and then to Properties. Select the sound card input from the drop down list. There should be a list of volume controls in properties. There should be a control name called Stereo Mix with a box next to it to check or uncheck. Check the box (if it's already checked leave it) then click ok. Now find the Stereo mix volume and click on the mute check box. This has helped me, beforehand the mic would record sound I would be playing even if my speakers were off. |
