just tried to install the new 93.71 drivers for my 7900GT
was previously using the 91.64 drivers for xp (32 bit)

I uninstalled the old drivers first in add/remove, restarted my computer
tried to install the new drivers, except when it says.. now installing nvidia display device drivers, it does it within 2 seconds

it says no system change has been made, to try again another time run setup again...tried doing that, restarting pc etc, have tried driver cleaner 3 to remove nvidia stuff.. didnt work.

tried installing the old drivers, same problem.
o and i had Anti virus software turned off during install (avg)
help!. i have no nvidia display drivers installed.. :(

Did you used driver cleaner or something similar before installing the new ones?

nothing is listed under device manager.. strange..(except in safe mode)

so i wonder if device manager has been gone all that time and i only just noticed now..

this could be a related issue with when i swapped my motherboard after it had been RMA'd..perhaps (without another install as it was the same model)

why else would nothing show up in device manager??
