Every year the accountant is getting at my boss to install a computer at our workplace. Every year, the accountant gets told where to shove it.
I was just wondering if there was a free program available that would be able to manage sales, and the upkeep of stocks, current prices etc...
One thing that it would have to be able to cope with is varying quanties of an item (we sell car paints) for example.
My idea is that if I can find a suitable program, run it aswell as the handwritten cash sale books et al. And just see how it copes with day to day use and whether the boss would be capable of using it. Please bear in mind that he bought himself a new tv the other day, and it had one of those fangled remote control thingies with it which baffles him to this day.
Any suggestions welcome.
