I've got a network problem, well at least i think it is.

In my house we have a workgroup with 3 computers which can all access each other and share files printers etc.

There is a problem with my computer though, whenever another computer tries to access mine it comes up with a login box :|

My computer doesn't have or require a password as its in my room.

How can i get it so people can access mine without logging in.

I'm running windows XP pro and i'm the administrator.

There is only one account on this computer and its the administrator btw.

You'll probably need to set up accounts for the computers and users logging in.

They should be able to use your username and password (just leave it blank).
You shouldn't really need a password for folders not in [yourusername]'s Documents.

I'd run the network setup wizard on all the computers again (in control panel). Make sure all the settings are the same.

I would guess that the drive has NTFS format, which has file level user access built in, either a) use the username computername\username and the password, or b) create accounts for each user and adjust the permissions c) or maybe set the permissions to public read write access which would involve no account shinnanegans (not guaranteed to work).

GL :D

try right-clicking My Computer, and choose Manage.
Click Local Users and Groups, Users

Check the guest account is enabled.

Then share some stuff, you may need to mess around with the share permissions
