right i bought some logitech X-530 5.1 surround sounds speakers a bit ago. now the front right speaker made an extremely loud popping sound the other night and now it wont produce any sound. this means when i play NFS carbon there are no voices because that speaker isn't working, so is there any way of reconfiguring your speakers so it cancels out the front right speaker and just uses the other 4. but the front right for me is the main speaker with the volume control and power switch on it which both still work. any help is grateful. thanks sam

Sounds like you have blown one of the speakers if it was a larger speaker a quick trip to Maplins for a resistor, and a bit of work with a soldering iron could solve the problem, but little uns like that are usually sealed units. If youre using a creative soundcard the usually have some sort of mixer that you could possible adjust it with. But if youre sure its not some dodgy wires or anythinmg and your speakers are all starting to go its probably time for new speakers I'm afraid.
