I've recently aquired an Asus TX97-XE mobo with processor, sound card, network card. How easy will it be to get everything else I need to get it working?

Sounds like its a beasty of a board.
Shouldn't be too hard to scrouge bit and pieces from random places that I cant tell you where. I might even have some compatible memory. I'll just have to chech compat with my old P-III board I ve got at home.

oops completely forgot about this. I might have even more stuff to scrounge as Im stipping a pentium II server at work and they said I could keep some of it.

I have some PC100 memory and it might work in a PC66 slot. No garuantees but I can send it to you if you want to try it out.

I've found a case and PSU (antec branded no less)....Graphics card quite easy to come by PCI wise...is it posisble to overkill? I can get a MX4000 64mb or a 9250 128mb for the same price...
Also, is ATX 2.01 backwards compatible with whatever the baord is? (Standard ATX)

That will be 24 pin so you will need the adapter that Beefy found as the board has a 20 pin connection

Bugger...my current antec is 20 pin as well with a 4 pin extension...
