im just wondering which is better, i know that the 720p is better for fsater images and 1080i for slower but the 1080i produces sharper images.

but all in all will i even notice any difference?

this if for an xbox 360 btw.

for an xbox, it would be much better to have the 1080i, but the xbox 360 supports 1080p for gaming if you can afford the tv that supports it.
i have a 360 and i can easily notice the additional sharpness to the image when run at 1080, but it seems just as smooth at 1080i as it is at 720p

From what I can tell from my Xbox360 is that it dosnt support 1080p. None of the games have it on the case, only upto 1080i. Its a shame but its a year old after all. PS3 is Full HD though as its newer.

Also if your TV native resolution is 1366x720 but accepts video input of 1080i sources, is it really displaying at 1900x1080? Or does it just allow higher sources but show them in lower resoulution?
