shrek technically OEM licences are only legal if sold with new PCs, and cannot be installed by an end user... so I doubt anyone here worries about the licence agreement. Bearing in mind that, I've always wondered why you can buy OEM stuff from anywhere other than a disti? You may find they actually enforce the fact the OEM licences live and die with the original PC, and won't let you activate it on a new box |

I'll probably hang on to it until I get a new (dx 10) video card anyway. I probably jumped the gun a bit but never mind. The rest of my PC will be ok for the near future anyway. Who knows what the future will bring. |

Ive never had any problem putting my OEM XP Home edition on three different computers and then back onto the original set up when i took it home to Oz. It was only installed on one PC at anyone time, I just had to ring up MS when it didnt activate on PC's 2 and 3 and nothing extra when it got put back on the original MB and chip config |
