:)

technically OEM licences are only legal if sold with new PCs, and cannot be installed by an end user... so I doubt anyone here worries about the licence agreement.

Bearing in mind that, I've always wondered why you can buy OEM stuff from anywhere other than a disti?

You may find they actually enforce the fact the OEM licences live and die with the original PC, and won't let you activate it on a new box :?

I'll probably hang on to it until I get a new (dx 10) video card anyway. I probably jumped the gun a bit but never mind. The rest of my PC will be ok for the near future anyway. Who knows what the future will bring.

Ive never had any problem putting my OEM XP Home edition on three different computers and then back onto the original set up when i took it home to Oz.

It was only installed on one PC at anyone time, I just had to ring up MS when it didnt activate on PC's 2 and 3 and nothing extra when it got put back on the original MB and chip config
