I can walk you through this tomorrow but sorry not now, suffice to say that you will need a separate partition ie the d drive to install it on.

summat wrong with your link there casp :lol:

if you don't have a partition put aside for it yet then you'll need to resize one to make room - partition magic is great for this and can be...aquired...from various sources. After that, you just install the new OS like normal in the blank space you've made and hey presto it works =]

Uhh~ yeah, when I dual booted with Vista, I hadto do some update for the version I was using, so do be prepared to get a headache with research on which update and where, not to mention why

My idea was to use WinXP as a backup plan... but then that backfired when I had to format the WinXP Partition, and for some reason I lost the dual-boot menu on startup, so I have 20GB of space doing nothing because I'm too darned lazy to merge the two or figure out how to access the Vista OS.

Yeah, I knew that part, dunno where the Vista boot file is or what I'd be looking for, for that matter. Either way, I'm still running the RC1, perhaps I should just format and merge them when needed, lol

Not spamming, but can you send me your Boot.ini from WinXP Partition please? ^ ^;;
