ok, finally got back onto dc, loving it!, but it seems slow in some parts?? I saw somewhere reducing the sound quality helps ,it did, bit its still slow. its not my pc, as i used to run dc on a MUCH worse machine and it ran v smooth runs ok most of the time but then jitters about hopelessly like i have a ping of a couple million.. any ideas? cheers |

You can remove the background sound file, I used to do that with my old computer and it certainly made a difference. All you really loose are the barking dogs, the odd fly over and some muffled sounds you can't hear anyway over Nicey swearing about how he's so rubbish at the game. The problem is, I can't remember what the files called. Someone should be along in a mo who'll know Edit* and that person is me. I think it's the file sound_001.rfa if you remove it, that'll free up your system and you should notice some improvement. Hopefully. |

What kind of system do you have atm? You might try unticking or ticking the hardware acceleration box in sound. That might help....has helped me before. |

I run it at 1024 it should be more than effecient for an game that old. |
